Hi Loseit commmunity!
I have to admit, i got no idea what to do anymore. It just does not make sense.
A short tldr for a massive story: Ate 2000kcal every day with a calculated TDEE of 2868 (i did sedentary on purpose like people suggest) I just kept fluctuating between 133 and 134 kg nonstop. (timespan: 3 months)
Did a DEXA scan, lean mass was 70 kg, 45% fat, DEXA calculated my BMR to be 2695kc. Started eating 2695kc, lost from 134 to 132, then again, fluctuating between 132-133. (Timespan of 2695kc: 2 months)
I have done thyroid blood tests before at my doctors, nothing weird in there.
Info:
188CM tall
Male
132kg Weight (70kg lean mass, 3.7kg bones)
Job: Sedentary
Exercise: 10k steps every single day without fail + weight lifting 5 times a week. 2x upper, 2x lower, 1x whatever i want.
Protein: 200gr to 210gr
I weigh EVERYTHING with a kitchen scale. Even the smallest amounts of butter. I check the label and make sure the myfitnesspal stats are correct.
It just does not make sense at all. I eat 2000, it plateaus, i literally eat 695kc MORE, i lose 1kg, then plateau. How does that make sense. What is it i'm missing?
PS: I understand that the first thing that comes to mind is: Is he just not eating more kcal than he thinks? I've optimized my food intake as good as possible. Almost everything is wholefoods and the small bit that isn't, i calculate extra.
