Advice on how not to eat sweets all the time?

I (21F) weigh around 101 kg/220 pounds. My goal weight is 70 kg/155 pounds.

I've started counting calories, and it's almost unbelievable how much calories there is in things like chocolate. Like 100 gram of milk chocolate is over 500 calories, that's basically enough calories for a whole meal.

So easiest way to not eat over my calories is cutting out candy and sweets of all kind. Not forever of course, but I can't eat it in moderation. I either don't eat it at all, or I eat everything.

But it's so hard not to. I kind of eats sweets everyday. If I don't, I'll crave it so much so that I just go and buy it anyway. Almost addiction like.

Any advice on how to stop being addicted to candy and chocolate? Like I still want to be able to eat at a cafe with friends, without binging on every sweet thing that's close by.

I'm so jealous of my thinner friends who don't seem to have this problem. They can take one piece of a chocolate cake and be satisfied. I don't understand how.

Thanks in advance!
