I'm just curious on how to start (I have read the faq). I always been impatient, but I want to do this in a healthy way of losing weight. Any advice is appreciated.

I'm 4 foot 11 male (ik short). I weight nearly 400 pounds. Not to start a sob story, but I really got out of control the last 2 years. I was still over eight, but I gained nearly 40 pounds due to my depression getting worse. I don't want this to be a problem when I'm 30 and getting out of my prime. I want to fix this now so I can get back to my life and not have my weight messing me up.

I been looking at different places. I want to run some thing by this sub. I've seen my daily calorie intake should be 2700 for my height. Is this accurate?

My goal weight is 130ish pounds (bmi for my height and gender is 130 for the limit. In okay with deviations due to difference in bone density and muscle percentage).

One thing is that I have cut out sodas for half a year. I was vegetarian for October till March (it was going to be a lifestyle shnge before covid happened). I was starting to lose weight too. I lost the motivation.

I just need general advice. Also with sanctions food is becoming scarce which seems good. One thing I really changed my mind on is trying to lose everything in like a year and a half by any means. Now I see it as, if it twkr 3 to 4 that's okay. I have the time. I just want to lose while minimizing the negative health side effects as well. Ig one thing is what are some good sources of neutrients while staying with a good colorie allowance per day.

Also I'm not active and don't excerise much. I'm get out of the house to chill with friends, but Im a home body.

I guess all in all I'm 19 M who is looking to lose 250 pounds to end up at a normal bmi. I want to lose wight while being happy and healthy. I don't want to lose a ton and then go right back. Any advice or guides from experience would help if you lost near 200. Thank you.
