How often do you check the scale? (SW:200, CW:200, GW:120)

I guess this is a frustration post - Last week I was 197, and I've been counting every pound off since i started getting my diet back on track. This month i stopped buying skip multiple times a day/week, now I'll have one 'cheat meal' a week, usually with a friend as a social occasion - which keeps me from overeating, or feeling hungry again. I usually won't have another meal that day, or i'll have a small bowl of mostly veggies and chicken.

The day after my cheat meal i was 197. Since then I've been eating really healthily, and I know the body doesn't lie as a calculator but I've been taking 1000-1400 cal per day, eating at a deficit most days because I read a post about someone who eats 200 calories less some days to eat more on their days out and that seemed appealing to me.

Today is my "cheat" day, i weighed myself in the morning, and I'm back to 200. Probably going to skip that meal ugh. It annoys me especially when I think about all the unhealthy snacks my sister keeps buying and I've been nibbling on fruits and veg instead.
