I started my weight loss regime on January 1st at 106.4kg, this morning I weighed in at 99.1kg for the second day in a row. Doesnt that seem a bit rapid? I'm obviously thrilled im showing changes so quickly but compared to other people I'm losing with, I seem to be shedding much faster so I am curious for an explanation.
I'm a 181cm tall man eating <1700 calories a day. In practice it means a small lunch at about 2pm of between 350-500 calories, a snack of yoghurt, fruit or nuts at about 5pm then a sensible, home cooked dinner. I frequently end up under my 1700 calories for the day by about 250-300, but not consistently. I have entirely cut out sugar, massively reduced bread consumption and walk 10k steps a day but I'm not lifting weights or anything.
At no point do I go to bed hungry, so I really don't feel like I'm starving myself. In fact all the changes I've made feel incredibly sustainable, I've had a few days since starting my diet where I've gone a bit overboard with the booze, but I try to balance it out by living very clean for a few days afterwards. But even then I hardly starve myself.
It cant just be the bread and sugar can it?
