For those who were previously 100+ pounds overweight, did losing that fat help improve an inflexible, sore, and tired body? Any guidance for what worked for you would be greatly appreciated.
Hey everyone, as above, my main question is how life has improved for you? I’m currently 24, I’m 6’4 and 300 lbs and my body hurts. It’s inflexible, sore, and tired.
I’ve been over weight my whole life, and I want to change that. I just started working a new job that has me walking 7+ miles a day, I changed up my diet so that I eat around 1,500 - 1,800 calories and according to my Apple Watch, burn around 4,500 calories total a day. I used a TDEE calculator and it says that with my current activity level I should be be able to eat around 4,000 cals a day to maintain weight.
I also just got a gym membership so I can do some strength training, cardio and have some jacuzzi time. However I am soo sore after work. I walk like a elderly man and have back pain, knee pain and sweat so much.
Does anyone have any additional tips? I know it’s very early on and I should not be impatient but I am ready to improve myself.
