I need advice regarding nutritionist

Hi im t2 diabetic, I am under care of an endo, I was told no more than 25 g of carbs per meal which I want to follow. I decided to go to a nutritionist to help me be accountable,. Here is my stats = 162 lb female , 5ft2 , t2 diabetic. On my first consultation, she gave me an 1800 calorie meal plan, and told me I should lose 1/2 a lb a week ,but more if I add in exercise. She kind of went over quickly of what i need to do, cause she was having connection issues with her computer, so for my 1 hour consultation the majority of it was her trying to fix the issues, anyhow, I understand things happens so I said it was fine, so basically I didn't get a chance to really think of what I needed to ask her. I later sent her a message that my endo said no more than 25g of carbs so she said on each meal to take out the dairy to cut out carbs and to make sure to add healthy fats since Taking out dairy also will be taking fat out. The plan I would say has like 45g of carbs per meal =/ I mean It is healthy I guess, being that it's whole grains, dairy. So I guess it would be 30 g of carbs per meal, anyways I then sent her a text about eating fat free items, I just can't do it amd asked her what to do, haven't got a response..so here I am curious of someone is similar to me amd have actually did lose weight with 1800 calories cause if I understand it right if my body burns 1335 or so doing nothing , wouldn't 1800 be too much? Also, should I switch nutritionist? And what do you think about the carb issues ? Thanks ! Sorry it's long, I hope I made sense
