Does anyone else who's lost large amount of weight feel foreign in their bodies??
Yesterday my coach had programmed a rest day and I was so liberated, I was able to enjoy fast food without binging, and didn't even feel a craving or desire for any of the other terrible foods I was around, which for me was a huge win as I had struggled with binge cycles in the past.
Today it was progress photo day and when I look at them I don't even feel like the photo is my body.
It feels like I'm looking at a photo of someone else, and it's really hard for me to connect that new body with mine.
I am hoping others have experience with this and are able to give me this to help me associate better with my body?
I went from 240 pounds to sitting at 180 right now, and am also training for a stage competition which is my first ever so I'm wondering if that's also adding to my body disassociation.
