I have been on my new lifestyle change for about a week, which is the longest I have gone in the past 4 years. During those years I had gained a lot of weight as a result from knee surgeries and giving up sports. I consumed a lot of food and did not exercise. But now after a what seems like a long time, I have decided to live a mindful and fulfilling life, and focusing on my mental health has really made a big difference. So, to make a long story short, I eat according to my tdee, subtracting 500 calories to be in a normal deficit (2,143cal-500cal=1,643cal). I do not have access to a gym, which of course is okay, it is not necessary and a lot of people lose weight without a membership. I have been running three miles a day, though I take a short break between each mile, and I run at a normal jog. With that I burn around 300 calories. And after that I will go on a long bike ride to get more fresh air, In which I burn around the same calories. I do not have any weights at the moment, but in the future I would like to get some so that I can change up my routine from time to time. Am I doing this right? Am I doing enough? I know some is better than nothing, but I have been out of the exercising for so long that I do not know what is right to do (strength training, cardio, etc.) Thank you for any advice
