So I've already lost ~15 pounds, and I'm aiming to lose probably 5 more. I know that as you lose weight, the amount of food you need to consume becomes less. As a result, I have been eating way less for the past few weeks and my appetite has even declined. My workouts have also significantly dropped - I feel like I don't have the motivation/energy and strength to push through.
By eating less, I think my carb intake has dropped too. I've been having trouble sleeping from time to time. Yesterday, I ate way too little simply because I wasn't that hungry during the day. But in the evening, I couldn't sleep at all despite being really tired, so I decided to eat (mostly carbs since I heard this helped with sleep). Today, I decided to up my carb and calorie intake again. However, I'm worried that this might derail my progress. Not sure if I'm just not used to eating a lot again after a while, but even after a significant increase in calories, I still don't feel full.
Is this a sign that I need to re-feed or take a diet break? But I'm honestly worried that this might derail my progress. Heard that some people felt hungrier after implementing re-feeds.
