I'm a 42 yo 5'11" male, and I'm looking at these charts and they typically cap around 178lbs for "normal" before going in to overweight and obese categories. I have a solid, broad shoulder build (traditional jock/football player type frame). In my mind, if I get below 200lbs I'll be stoked. I haven't been under 200lbs since maybe freshman year of high school. I've been in the 220-240 (maybe more, don't weight myself often) range most of my life.
I literally can't picture myself weighing 175. That seems insane. And even then, that's still on the border of being overweight. So I am shooting for like, 165? Whew. That seems daunting and impossible for me to fathom.
A bunch of you are doing it though. So no it's not impossible to achieve. I'm just not able to visualize it.
