I have been steadily gaining weight my whole life. I went through a traumatic breakup and some other devastating events, and the only positive thing I could focus on was improving myself.
When I weighed in four weeks ago, I was 377.2.
This morning when I weighed in, I was 353.4.
This is the most weight I have ever lost in this amount of time. All I have been doing is intuitively eating, and tracking my calories to keep myself on track. I haven’t eaten pasta (my vice) in a month. I have eaten bread on occasion if I was at a restaurant, but I feel good about it because it was an appropriate amount at an appropriate time.
I am just… very proud of myself. I feel very good. It is comforting and motivating to know that you are capable of doing hard things and succeeding at them.
