So, I recently joined a gym.
As per my trainer I have loose fat (I weigh around 83-84 kg and have height of around 180 cm). I aim to decrease this body/stomach/chest fat along with that just look healthy and slim (not lean), maybe with some muscle outgrowing (not a body builder just look fit and fine).
My trainer asked me to first gain some more weight like 8-9 kg and then go for muscle building. Since, I am pretty new to this gym training club etc , I feel he's trying to extract more money from me by selling his personal training plan for longer duration. I fear gaining weight, what if I gain weight and then due to some reasons had to change my gym or instructor or my residing location in future.. :(
As far as i have seen, You require proper diet (maybe calorie deficit) and cardio + Weight training. These two can do wonders. Now he's asking me to gain weight :(
Diet wise I am Vegetarian so this does hamper chances of getting adequate proteins, however will try some alternatives.
