Why do I still feel like I need to starve myself?

I’ve gotten pretty far with eating a 500 calorie deficit over the past few months. I’m only 15 pounds away from my goal weight, but every week that my weight wouldn’t move or would only go down by like .5 I would feel the need to starve myself. The past week, I’ve eaten around 1100 calories a day and I lost 2.5 pounds that week is great, but I feel like I’m definitely losing muscle mass and as soon as I don’t eat in such a deficit, I’ll quickly pile on fat.

These last 15 pounds are really annoying to get off. But it seems if I don’t eat below 1600 then my weight will plateau despite my efforts.
