Just started taking back my life and it feels pretty good :D

For the longest time I've always been bigger. Ever since I was a pre teen I had issues with my weight. My parents had me on a lot of medication when I was younger and some of it made me gain a lot of weight, and because of the medication it made it really hard to lose. I dealt with a lot of severe personal insecurities because of it in my early and mid 20's and eventually got into some pretty hard drugs that made me lose a lot of weight, and because of the weight lose people thought I looked really good, so I kept up the drugs for a few years and finally got sober ( been clean now for about 6 years from everything except for an occasional drink or a joint ). After getting sober I gained back all of my weight ( up to about 220-235lbs give or take ). I eventually ended up in the construction field as a pipe layer and it absolutely started tearing fat off of my body, but than I was offered a position working with my brother for way lore money. Only downside was that your stationary for 10 hours a day. They offered pee diem, but at the time it could only be used at restaurants, so I gained it all back. I started running a few days ago and I've cut my food intake down to about 1500-2000 calories a day and I plan to run every day and use weights every other day, but the running feels GOOD. SO GOOD. I never thought I would actually enjoy it. It's only 30 minutes a day, but I'm going to work towards a 5k over the next 2-3 months. It's only been a few days but I feel better already. Like, mentally better. I know it's going to take a while to shed my excess weight ( M, 30 years old, 230lbs give or take, 5'11'' ), but one of the biggest things that's always kept me depressed and kept me from actually trying was mindset. Now that I know it's not as hard as I thought it was I feel so much better!!! I took a before picture of myself that ill post with an after picture once I finish my C25k routine I'm working on. I'm so excited!!!
