This is my first post, and I'm very excited since I've had Reddit for a little while now and it's been tremendously helpful in other subjects.
I am a woman (28F)5'11, and I weigh about 225 pounds. I carry my weight well, and you can't tell that I'm obese. But in order for me to be healthy I need to weigh 180. I have a big butt and hips and legs, and a small waist. The only form of physical activity I've ever done is boxing. I did it for a solid 2 years, but I never lost any weight. I had a personal trainer and everything, but for some reason even boxing 4 to 5 times a week, I remained the same. I realized that although I have the motivation to workout, I'm not very good when it comes to food.
I'm the type of person that functions really well having guidance. Since I don't have a personal trainer anymore, and I've never been to a regular gym, I am literally at a loss with what to do. Also, I tend to eat out somewhat. But my biggest addiction is coffee (I live on the west coast of the USA, and there's a coffee shop called Dutch Bros and I literally can't go one morning without it.) I'm sure that's a big factor on why I'm not losing weight since it's coffee, sugar, cream, etc. I don't like a lot of junk food but sometimes it's inevitable when I'm working and have no time to make a sandwich for lunch.
I'm looking for resources, and websites, that will provide real guidance in food and fitness/exercise so I can start implementing a routine that will help me lose this weight. I want to tone up, get healthy, and make things easier for myself physically. I want to be able to hike and not get tired, walk up the stairs, etc. Any guidance will be truly appreciated and if anyone knows how to create a good weekly plan, please help!
Thank you everyone for reading!
