So for well over a year I've been trying to lose weight. I started out at 10 stone 13 in March 2018. After a year of on/off diets and being able to lose weight (I was 9 stone 5 in December) I'm pretty much back to my starting weight. I'm not fat, but I'm nowhere near happy with my body. It's flabby and generally just...meh. I find it so hard to stay motivated to stick to a diet. I love eating food, making food for friends and family...it's just so hard to stick to it. I wish one day I have a eureka moment and I suddenly unlock motivation and a proper potential to lose weight. It's become a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy as every time I start another attempt to lose weight, it's always in the back of my mind that I'm going to go back to my old shit eventually. I'm finding it so hard to get out of that mindset.
