Basic advice?

I am a 6 foot 4 male, 27 and I weight 270 pounds.

I am eating 2000 calories a day and walking around 5 k every day.

Also working out triceps, biceps, abs, doing push ups.

I used to be at 283 pounds but plateaued a long time ago. Have gone down 2 belt sizes.

I'm keep lossing inches but not weight. Does this mean I'm gaining muscle mass but lossing fat?

I don't know how I could possible not be losing weight, my resting metabolic weight is around 2500.

So I'm eating 500 calories less and burning 500 calories on top. Everywhere I read I should be losing 2 pounds a week. So what the hell is up?
